Buckeye Birthday Cake


This recipe was published in the paper over a year ago, but I didn't have the opportunity or inclination to make it until my birthday this year. I'm not 100% sold on it since the layers did not cooperate in standing upright and once it was cut it collapsed into a delicious mess.
The glaze was a bit of terrific, and I've already used it on another cake.

Looks great sliced. I took a look at the pic they had in the paper. Looks like their filling was thicker. I might try a pudding mix instead of milk... maybe. LOL!
